Orbita was founded in 1962 as an individual company by its founder Giuseppe Nazzaro Roda, current president. The company immediately became involved in the small metal parts sector, mainly aimed at the automotive market. Starting from 1964 Orbita started the production of chains and bearings for overhead conveyors, items that currently represent almost all of the turnover.

Today the company activity is carried out in a modern factory of about 2,000 square meters. The highly qualified staff makes use of sophisticated automatic machines and assembly robots capable of completing the production process of an entire component autonomously and in absolute safety for the operator.

The step taken by Orbita Srl with the achievement of the attestation of its production system, certified with the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008 standard, is the last step taken by the company towards the goal of production aimed at global quality, which began already in 1962 with the founder.
